  • The desire to work towards a professional membership, such as with CIEEM
  • Project Ecologist:
  • A passion for ecology, demonstrated through relevant ecological survey experience
  • Some knowledge of the practical application of UK wildlife legislation
  • Professional membership, such as with CIEEM (or be working towards this)
  • Natural England protected species survey licence(s)

Responsibilities

  • You will be working on a diverse array of interesting projects, which will involve undertaking site visits and conducting field-based surveys, such as habitat classification surveys, protected species surveys and terrestrial/ aquatic ecology surveys. You will provide expert advice to our clients by producing high-quality technical survey reports such as ecological appraisals, ecological impact assessments and protected species survey reports.

The main office location for this position is in London, with the option of some flexible working. Projects primarily take place in London and surrounding regions of south east, south, and eastern parts of England, with opportunities to support projects in other areas of the UK as well.
