What level of experience is required for this Graduate / Project Ecologist position?
This position is suitable for both graduates looking to start their career in ecology, as well as individuals with some seasonal survey experience who are looking for a more permanent opportunity to further develop their skills.
What kind of tasks will I be responsible for as a Graduate / Project Ecologist?
Tasks will include protected species surveying, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, UKHab surveying, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments, report writing, and Ecological Clerk of Works duties. There may also be opportunities to project manage small projects with relevant experience.
What kind of training will be provided for this position?
Full training will be provided, a mix of in-house and external providers. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience working on a range of projects.
What are the working hours for this Graduate / Project Ecologist role?
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Where is the main office location for this role?
The main office location for this position is in London, with the option of some flexible working. Projects primarily take place in London and surrounding regions of south east, south, and eastern parts of England, with opportunities to support projects in other areas of the UK as well.
