  • Our partnership at Heathrow continues to grow and as such the Costain Heathrow team are looking for a Graduate Project Manager at Heathrow Airport within the ARP portfolio.
  • The role of the Project Manager is dynamic and stimulating. As a Graduate PM, you will assist and support members of the Programme Management team across an exciting range of projects at UK’s largest airport working on business development through to delivery and hand backs on complex programmes of work.
  • The successful candidate must be comfortable working with wide range of stakeholders such as the client and the various project disciplines. The PM helps to ensure actions are carried out by the appropriate parties at the right times to ensure deadlines are met and that value is added to the client's projects. 
  • To be effective in the role of a Graduate PM you must have effective communication skills, be good at building relationships and rapport with the various parties involved in a project, be good at planning and managing your time, be highly motivated, and be committed to delivering excellent service to our clients.  
  • This position offers up the opportunity to demonstrate Costain’s capability and values to grow the Costain account at Heathrow to ensure a future pipeline of work for our organisation and growing talent within the team.


  • A bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Have passion for Costain's Carbon Net Zero target.
  • Able to demonstrate a keen interest in developing a career in Project Management
  • Effective decision making and strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proactive and driven approach to work and creating success.
  • Ability to working in a team of diverse individuals to meet common objectives.
  • IT proficient
  • Excel at building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • The ability to thrive in pressured situations.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
  • Mobility to work on various projects over the 2-year programme throughout the UK.

  • Putting the safety and wellbeing of the team and the airport at the heart of everything you do
  • Regular liaison with all relevant parties
  • Procurement
  • Liaising with and assisting Senior Project Managers
  • Contact administration
  • Data management
  • Coordinating the project team
  • Planning key task
  • Reporting on progress and cost
  • Site visits and meetings
  • Assisting with the specific needs of the Airport environment including minuting meetings, preparing slide packs and team planning
