Responsibilities

  • Help to identify, track and develop future opportunities for GT Investments, predominantly in the Build to Rent residential sector.
  • Engage with clients, land owners and funding partners to develop a close relationship, gaining a broad understanding of their needs, requirements and pressures, (e.g. political and financial). Develop a partnership approach with the client involving all members of their team and appropriate members of the bid team and establish who the decision makers are and their key drivers.
  • Manage and coordinate the project process, ensuring all parties (including colleagues, external partners and professional advisors), have a clear understanding of the project strategy, what is expected of them and their responsibilities in the process.
  • Support the assembly, writing and submission of proposals and offers to ensure that they fully reflect the client’s requirements and manage our risks.
  • Coordinate, manage and attend meetings with the client and other members of the project team.
  • Support the production of presentations and participating in presentation of bid proposals to the client and other stakeholders.
  • Support the production of development appraisals for projects and ensuring inputs are received on time and are inclusive of all cost requirements.
  • Understand the risks of the project and manage the transfer of those risks where appropriate, working with the commercial team to deliver commercially acceptable solutions.
  • Engage with the design and build contractor, the design team, the service provider and other key partners, funders and advisors to produce an integrated solution that meets the desired requirements and fits within the financial constraints of the project.
  • Support internal reporting, board and consortium sign off procedures and processes including agreeing bid budgets and controlling expenditure.
  • Assist in the appointment of project advisors, design teams and specialists.
  • Support negotiation of contracts from Preferred Bidder to Financial Close.
  • Support the disposal of investment assets to align with our strategic investment plans.
