  • As a Developer you’ll be a key member of our consulting services team working on a range of assignments using all the latest tools and technologies, and assisting our high profile clients, such as Waitrose, the NHS Resolution and WorldPay. 
  • You’ll become proficient in a wide range of skills including cloud infrastructure, programming, application engineering and testing. Through practical hands-on experience and ongoing training, you’ll be continually expanding your knowledge and developing new skills. After 2 years, you'll gain a government accredited qualification in Software Development.

Responsibilities

  • Once you’ve completed your initial training you’ll work either in-house or at client sites across the UK delivering exceptional service and building on your knowledge.
  • A snapshot of a typical day may look a little like this:
  • Reviewing a client’s system to make sure you know their product inside and out
  • Using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to write top quality code
  • Testing the software to ensure it’s working as intended
  • Building a new Cloud data platform in AWS and Google Cloud
  • Continuing to learn about relevant tools and technologies
  • Here’s what you can expect:
  • 5 months' full time training at our dedicated Training Centre in Poole, covering all aspects of software development, including programming, testing, application engineering and cloud computing
  • Continued supported training for 2 years, leading to a government accredited qualification in Software Development
  • A designated trainer to help you through the course
  • Access to further resources to build your knowledge base
  • A friendly, collaborative culture with like-minded colleagues
