Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on Structures. You will also require the following:
  • Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, advanced reinforced concrete design, and earthquake engineering
  • Structural project design experience via prior internship and/or coursework projects.
  • Familiarity with Revit, 3D modelling skills (Rhino, SketchUp, etc)
  • Interest and/or experience in visual programming (Dynamo, Grasshopper), coding (Python, C#), and open source coding projects is a plus
  • Internship experience at engineering related firm preferred
  • Proven interest in the built environment

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the progression and delivery of structural engineering projects
  • Undertake detailed structural engineering design and calculations
  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications
  • Plan and manage documentation of design work
  • Assisting in the documentation of structural engineering designs
  • Assist in oversight of projects in construction
