Description

  • The successful Graduate Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing and deploying control and safety systems to improve current processes and operations for the energy industry.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of legacy and current technologies and be part of a dynamic and growing team that values innovation and creativity.
  • This position provides the opportunity to further develop as an engineer through mentoring, on the job learning, further education, with the end goal of becoming a Chartered Engineer.

Requirements

  • Degree educated with a minimum of BEng/BSc in Electronic/Electrical or Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement control and safety systems for a variety of industries.
  • Analyse customer needs and develop systems to meet their requirements.
  • Test, evaluate and document control and safety systems for performance and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control and safety system issues.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Maintain and update existing control and safety systems.
  • Utilise PSS developed software tools.
  • Reports to: Systems Manager and designated Senior Systems Engineer.
