Responsibilities

  • Transaction Banking accompanies clients’ international expansion, supports their working capital needs, payment and collection requirements, and helps them manage liquidity.
  • In Transaction Banking, you will handle clients’ operational needs and daily transactions, and support their transition toward a more sustainable approach.
  • You will acquire valuable on-the-ground expertise and commercial skills along our business and data experts, through diverse clients and problematics.
  • As a graduate, you will participate to the structuring of Trade and Supply Chain transactions, working alongside the Marketers, from pitching to execution of the contracts.
  • You will take part to meetings with Marketers, Coverage Officers, and Clients in relation to structuring and operational aspects of new transactions.
  • You will have to seek relevant credit and capital approval, run pricing/GRR models, prepare business green-lights requests and credit memo, and assist managers with the credit process jointly with the relevant coverage team.
  • You will join the digital community to spread best practices in terms of digitization of trade finance business, help GTS trade managers to pitch/onboard clients on our digital channels solutions.

  • As a graduate, you will join the EMEA Cash Management team which is part of the cash management business line within CIB EMEA: its primary missions are to proactively market clients; structure multi-countries cash management offers in Europe, particularly in response to calls for tenders from large corporates; and accompany clients in implementing cash management set-up and managing flows.
  • You will have to contribute to the Sales strategy and roadmap, as well as internal initiatives.
  • You will work on client pitches, proposals and pricing.
  • LIS’ objective is to contribute to Global Banking funding deposit objective through collection of deposits (mainly corporates), whilst optimising revenues.
  • To reach this goal, LIS contributes to position BNP Paribas as a global leader for liquidity expertise and knowledge.
  • You will assist and support Cash Management, LIS and Coverage through Liquidity Management Advisory.
  • It consists in preparing client presentations on liquidity and short term investment strategies in coordination with our experts.

  • Commercial, by contributing to the development and profitability of the client relationship in connection with the Managing Directors (MDs), Directors (Ds) and Vice Presidents (VPs).
  • You will support them in the preparation & follow up of the Strategic Business Review and other actions necessary to ensure a strong commercial dialogue between the Client and the Bank.
  • You will be also in charge of the Multinational Corporations (MNCs) coordination should there be any in his portfolio.
  • Credit, by being active in the selection of the bank’s assets, thereby contributing to the sustainability of the business model.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring the overall risks and credit process of a portfolio of Pilot Groups.
  • You will contribute to the green light process and to the structuration of plain vanilla products / loan book transactions.
  • Compliance/KYC & ESG, by providing a deep dive analysis of the Compliance and ESG profile of your clients, identifying potential risk (amongst which image and reputation) when entering into relation and / or providing financing to a client, but also potential commercial development where the Bank can support the ESG transition of its clients.
  • The KYC activity focuses on the more added-value tasks by supporting bankers in steering the KYC Strategy for their client portfolio.
  • At the end of the programme you will join back the Transaction Banking department as analyst.
