Major responsibilities include preparing lunch and/or dinners, preparing menu items on roasting ovens and grills, reviewing menus prior to food preparation, ensuring all food procedures are followed, adhering to sanitation guidelines, becoming familiar with new menu items, and having fun as part of our culture.
What educational qualifications are required for this position?
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A graduate of a culinary institute, military school, or formal on-the-job training is preferred, but not required.
Is prior experience necessary for this role?
Yes, a minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience is preferred, as well as experience with quantity food preparation.
Is there a requirement for a Food Service Sanitation Certificate?
Yes, a Food Service Sanitation Certificate is required within 30 days after hire.
Are there opportunities for professional development or training?
