Responsibilities

  • Partner with US office client teams to support clients annual Form 5500 filing(s)
  • In collaboration with US Compliance & Audit colleagues, research related Form 5500 compliance issues, draft responses and assist with client meetings and presentations
  • Request review and log Carrier and Form 5500 Worksheets
  • Request, review, and log Schedule As and/or Cs either directly with carriers or core teams
  • Provide updates to clients and client teams on filing preparation status
  • Prepare draft Form 5500 filings to be reviewed and published to clients for final filing.
  • Draft and provide Summary Annual Reviews (SAR) to clients for distribution
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
  • Ensure all filings following internal Excellence/technical review process prior to publication to clients
  • Strive to publish filings at least 60 days before filing date
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and processes to improve turnaround time of filings
  • Provide applicable trainings on our process and worksheets to new WTW colleagues
  • Successfully manage own workload while proactively resolving conflicting priorities or other workload issues within the team
  • Develop a trusted relationship with client teams and colleagues through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of tasks
  • Manage expectations and raise appropriate issues to team leaders
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches; identify opportunities to enhance quality and/or improve processes
