Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide an effective on-site or community assessment, treatment and follow-up program for children and youth with severe and enduring mental health and/or behaviour needs from all areas of the Province.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff and community service providers.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, including tracking outcomes and adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Advocate for the needs and rights of children and youth within the mental health system.
  • Provide consultation and support to families and caregivers.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain current knowledge of best practices in mental health care.
