Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operations and business continuity of the functions located in the Madrid Hub, including the definition of operation KPIs.
  • Lead the expansion of the Madrid Hub following Sulzer Transformation Roadmap and objectives set by the organization.
  • Enforce Madrid hub vision and strategy aligned with Sulzer principles and HR policies, contributing to create a culture of integrity.
  • Support definition of roles and training required for new positions, teams, and functions migrated to the Madrid hub.
  • Forecast required office capacity and changes needed in the hub to adapt it to the operational needs.
  • Stay informed about trends in the SSC/GBS industries, regarding technical aspects, sharing with Sulzer Management and applying best practices to Madrid hub.
  • Support the integration across the different Madrid teams and the global group functions.
  • Communicate and act as escalation point for relevant stakeholders on the Hub’s operations and metrics.
  • Liaise with Sulzer Hub Heads in other locations to better coordinate joint processes and efficiencies.
  • Ensure there is an IT infrastructure and process in place to work efficiently, coordinating accordingly with IT infrastructure Management.
  • Enforce internal controls and governance framework in all the operations done in the hub, in alignment with Sulzer Internal Controls and Internal Audit.
  • Support technology implementation to achieve efficiencies in Madrid hub operations in all the areas.
  • Work closely with HR to implement local and corporate HR processes.
  • Cooperate closely with local HR to ensure effective recruiting, retention and talent development activities.
