Responsibilities

- Take the lead on the design and delivery of a range of transformative and ambitious initiatives across Ealing’s 7 vibrant and diverse towns.
- Ensure the borough is well equipped to address existing, emerging and long term strategic transport challenges.
- Set out a focus for the work of the service in alignment with Ealing’s Transport Strategy, Climate and Ecological Emergency, Air Quality Strategy and Travel in Ealing Charter.
- Ensure delivery of the Council’s transport related ambition with residents at the heart of everything we do.
- Work with connected communities, effective communications, engagement and co-design.
- Deliver an ambitious £28m programme of highways transformation works aimed at improving network connectivity, prioritising modal shift and reducing carbon impact.
- Work across the council and communities and with a range of external stakeholders to deliver our strategic transport aims.
