Responsibilities

  • Set the direction for commercial management and quantity surveying on live construction projects
  • Ensure all contractors across the portfolio meet contractual performance obligations and delivery targets
  • Lead the commercial/contract management and quantity surveying teams on Network Infrastructure and EV projects globally
  • Lead on mitigating commercial risk on construction projects
  • Establish the role of supplier contract management in operations
  • Provide senior level representation for Zenobe on claims or supplier contractual issues
  • Responsible for leading on escalated level commercial and contract management of Zenobē’s live BESS and EV construction projects
  • Set standards and processes for project commercial management
  • Lead, manage and resolve commercial tasks – including commercial strategy, drafting of formal correspondence, variations, claims, commercial risk management (opportunities/threats), project accounts & payments
  • Ensure all stakeholders adhere to contractual obligations, internal standards and external regulations
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with new and existing contractors and both internal/external stakeholders
  • Provide and present periodic commercial status updates to senior leadership team
  • Line management responsibilities, quantity surveyors and contracts managers (supplier side)
  • Support central procurement initiatives as required and feeding in lessons learned from the construction phase into upcoming development projects
  • Support the pre-FID procurement process in contract negotiations, as required
  • Attend construction site(s) as required
