Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver joined-up marketing, communications, and fundraising strategies to support the Trust's aims.
  • Use market research and audience insight to shape messaging, campaigns, and engagement.
  • Lead and support a small, motivated team; foster teamwork and continuous development.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, events and social media.
  • Oversee brand, content and collateral production, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.
  • Coordinate with Ampleforth College's Marketing and Development teams.
  • Manage relationships with external consultants and agencies for both marketing and fundraising.
  • Identify and cultivate donor and supporter relationships, from major gifts to regular giving and legacies.
  • Track campaign and fundraising performance, using data to inform and improve future activity.
  • Oversee budgets for marketing, communications and development, ensuring resources are used effectively.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders locally and nationally.
  • Represent the Abbey and Trust as an ambassador at relevant events and meetings.
