  • And, as this is a media relations role, it goes without saying that we need someone who has highly developed communications skills. You should have the ability to write compelling messages and copy for a range of media content.

Responsibilities

  • As our Head of Media, you’ll lead our excellent media relations team based in London and Manchester. You’ll provide effective advice to the organisation on how we can influence and manage media coverage about the GMC’s work. You’ll maintain and grow effective relationships within the media. In everything you do, you’ll demonstrate an inclusive approach to leadership and be a positive role model for the GMC’s values of excellence, fairness and collaboration.

Is this a remote or office-based role?

This is a hybrid role between home working and office working, with a minimum of 1 day a week required in the office. Meetings may need to be attended in person in both London and Manchester.
