Responsibilities

  • 2-year Management Development Programme consisting of two 12-month placements.
  • The programme is a challenging mix of work experience, off the job learning and self-learning
  • Exposed to as much of the hotel operation as possible through relationship with DGM or Ops Manager
  • Target of DM or Supervisor responsibilities within 3-months
  • Fixed term 2-year contract with the aim to be in a permanent manager post by month 18

What is the duration of the Graduate Programme?

The Graduate Programme lasts for 2 years and consists of two 12-month placements.

What kind of experience will I gain during the programme?

You will be exposed to various aspects of hotel operations and will work alongside a Deputy General Manager or Operations Manager, gaining hands-on experience in different departments.

What responsibilities can I expect within the first few months?

You will have a target of taking on Deputy Manager or Supervisor responsibilities within the first 3 months of the programme.

Is there a possibility of permanent employment after the programme?

Yes, the aim is for you to be in a permanent manager position by month 18 of the programme.

What qualifications are required to apply?

A degree in Hotel, Leisure, Tourism, or International Hospitality is required, along with a passion for hospitality.

Do I need prior experience in the hospitality industry to apply?

While it’s ideal to have worked in operational areas such as Food & Beverage, Front Office, Kitchen, and Banqueting, it is not a strict requirement.

Are there any geographical limitations for the placements?

Yes, you should be flexible on location to make the most of your programme experience.

When do applications for the Graduate Programme close?

Applications close in May 2025.

What is the selection process for applicants?

The selection process involves a 2-step process: an assessment centre followed by a final interview with the General Manager of your placement hotel if successful.

When can successful applicants expect to start?

Accepted candidates will have the opportunity to start in August or September 2025.

You will receive extensive personal and professional development with the support of industry professionals, including a dedicated mentor and a programme sponsor.
