Responsibilities

  • We are seeking to recruit an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Fashion Design who is available to work during the academic year and will be available to work at short notice.
  • You will work under the direction of the Principal Lecturers who manage the Fashion Design courses and you will contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and learning to undergraduate/postgraduate students starting in October/November 2024.
  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and communicate ideas of a complex design or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods.
  • You will have a detailed knowledge of techniques and equipment through industry, professional, and/or higher education experience in Fashion.

The pay rate is £49.75 per direct teaching hour, with a flat rate of £19.90 per hour for completing other elements of the schedule such as teaching, preparation, and marking.
