Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations
  • Support the HRBPs with the management of ER casework including disciplinary, grievance, conduct and capability issues
  • supporting the development and maintenance of performance management
  • developing managers’ skills in this area
  • ensuring legislation, policy and best practice are followed
  • supporting with administrative paperwork and outcome letters
  • supporting Managers at various stages of the process where needed
  • Note-taking at formal meetings
  • advising and guiding managers through the relevant policies
  • To lead on the management of casework relating to absence and health issues. This may include
  • Keeping track of long-term sick cases
  • Giving advice, support, and recommendations to managers on this subject
  • Managing the long-term sickness process including occupational health referrals, sending EAP details, home visits, paperwork, supporting General Managers with welfare meetings
  • Supporting line managers with difficult conversations as and when needed
  • Ensuring line managers are compliant with our policies and procedures, and carrying out HR best practise
  • Provide practical support/ coaching to Managers
  • Training and development
  • Assist in the design and delivery of HR Training across the company. This may include (but not limited to); skills improvement workshops, case studies, handling performance and conduct issues, legislative changes, anti-harassment training, disciplinary & absence management
  • Supporting managers to produce personal development plans for team members and following up on progress and necessary actions relating to progress
  • Assisting managers with coaching conversations to assist in the ongoing development of our talent pool
  • Assisting in the design and delivery of development programmes as and when required to drive succession planning
  • Booking delegates onto internal and external courses as and when required
  • Getting involved with our e-learning platform as and when required

  • Updating terms and conditions of employment and employee handbook
  • Implementing new HR policies and procedures as and when required
