Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for physicians and advanced practice providers, including job postings, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Develop and execute onboarding programs that integrate new employees seamlessly into the foundation and hospital culture.
  • Maintain effective hiring practices that support providing high-quality, patient-centered care and promote diversity in the workplace.
  • Advise Foundation executive leadership on compensation and benefits programs, including competitive positioning, benefit-cost, and utilization review.
  • Ensure consistent application of pay policies, confidentiality of pay information, and compliance with FLSA Wage and Hour Laws and Regulations.
  • Design and maintain the benefit programs for physicians and Foundation-appointed personnel; organize and manage open enrollment periods; provide day-to-day benefits and COBRA administration.
  • Manage Foundation retirement, LOA, Disability, and Workers Compensation programs; complete 5500 filings.
  • Develop, manage and monitor HR programs and policies. Recommend approval to leadership and the Foundation board and ensure consistent application throughout the Hospital.
  • Coordinates with Hospital HR Management to stay updated on regulatory, compliance, and policy changes.
  • Develop and maintain Job Descriptions and Performance Evaluations; Develop documentation to maintain compliance with employment law and record retention guidelines.
  • Work with external auditing firms to complete yearly compliance reporting and audits.
  • Manage all business-related insurance, including health, life, liability, fiduciary, travel, property, and dental.
  • Develop active communication with staff and team members via web portals, email systems, and the intranet to ensure openness and responsiveness to team members’ questions and concerns.
  • Maintain an open-door policy, facilitating town meetings as needed. Will attend regular meetings with Hospital HR Managers and staff.
  • Ensure that Foundation staff have access to educational programs and seminars, including attendance at Hospital-wide programs.
  • Oversee HR systems and applications; Develop, implement, and maintain automated systems to support human resource programs and activities.
  • Serve on any necessary committees for the Foundation or the Physician’s Organization at the Hospital.
