Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the NBA's 90-day onboarding journey for new hires, including day 1 orientation.
  • Partner with internal groups, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations, Benefits, and IT to ensure an integrated and seamless experience for new hires.
  • Work across the Human Resources team to identify engaging experiences, exposure and learning opportunities/resources for New Hires during their first 90-days with the organization.
  • Identify trends, insights and best practices to promote continuous process improvement in response to current and emerging issues.
  • Train a group of facilitators for new hire experiences and facilitate sessions as needed.
  • Onboard US New Hires via the onboarding system.
  • Initiate, review, escalate and adjudicate background checks and social media reviews. Collaborate with Employee Relations on escalations and, as applicable, rescind offers according to FCRA regulations.
  • Review, audit and submit new hire paperwork for HR Records Center administration.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and partner with managers to execute changes.
  • Participate and provide subject matter expertise in various technology enhancement and process improvement projects.
  • Participate in ongoing process improvements to deliver a seamless process that is legally and organizationally compliant, welcoming to new hires and provides an efficient path to productivity.
  • Receive and process non-contestable unemployment claims for former project and regular employees leveraging CaseBuilder (an online unemployment insurance tool).
  • Coordinate with Employee Relations regarding contestable claims.
  • Provide transactional and operations support to HR COEs including, but not limited to Global Mobility.
  • Provide Mobility and Relocation administration support including policy and user access maintenance, scheduling/running relocation reports, survey administration, reviewing monthly top off report for capital account, training HR stakeholders and fielding their general inquiries.
