Responsibilities

  • Processing of various employee master data changes, such as: new hires, terminations, status, work schedule, salary adjustments, address changes, position, location changes and reject reports for all non-union office employees.
  • Act as a Liaison between various internal departments, employees, Human Resources, Payroll departments and our Stores/Pharmacies.
  • Respond to internal or external employee related inquiries within the area of responsibility.
  • Oversees the technical and administration of our automated timesheet system (CATS).
  • Provide support and training on CATS to Timesheet Administrators and Managers as required.
  • Provide support and assistance to Manager on projects and department initiatives as required, including the OnBoarding process.
  • Provide support to with training initiatives targeted to the Office employees(Just the Basics, Early Warning Signs, Diversity and Discrimination).
  • Provides scheduled and ad-hoc reports for HR department and various internal departments.
  • Support the HR Systems Specialist with any collective agreement ratification guidelines in systems including hourly and monthly progression processes and any related statistical reports. Minimum Wage, collective agreement audits and lump sum audits and payments.
  • Acts as Superuser for the Office group by resolving problems, answering questions and conducting any system testing pertaining to HR systems and procedures.
  • Provide support to HR Coordinator team in critical periods.
  • Process and follow up on all non union Probationary Period forms, including any salary increases (office, store and pharmacy employees)
  • Supports the HR Systems Specialist, HR-Distribution Centre and the HR Executive Assistant as required.
