Responsibilities

  • Serve as consultant to the Director(s) on organization Human Resource programs, interpreting policies and providing procedural guidance to management on all related programs. Analyzes human resource challenges and complications; develops recommendations and alternative solutions.
  • Assist with the development, planning, implementation, and monitoring of all aspects of the team manning strategy. Staff and process all position descriptions and associated agreements. Conduct studies and analysis to determine future team workforce requirements. Develop plans and strategies to shape the workforce to meet future requirements.
  • On a weekly basis, administer, initiate, review, and provide staff function support for personnel actions, evaluations, awards, hiring authorization agreements, onboarding, offboarding, and other programs.
  • On a weekly basis assist with HR actions including reviewing vacancy announcements; reviewing position descriptions for classification or update; and filing SF-50s (Notification of Personnel Action). The Human Resources Associate will track and maintain arrival and departure dates of military and civilian detailees, and individuals participating in the Joint Duty Augmentee (JDA) program. The Human Resources Associate shall also provide support on all JDA related matters.
  • On a weekly basis, the Human Resources Associate will provide support for awards programs, to include Civilian Honorary and Impact Awards as well as additional perennial, annual, or singular awards eligible to civilians that are to be submitted through OUSD(I&S). This will include tracking status of awards in progress and research into previous awards as necessary. Review of submission for accuracy and completeness in accordance with WHS, OSD, or ODNI guidelines.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance and implementation of training plans and developmental learning programs, which incorporate IC, DIE, DOD training programs and opportunities.
  • Assist with and provide personnel insight into budget analysis, spend plan development and milestones, and future year budget requests.
  • Submit and monitor submitted trip reports to leadership upon return from working groups, conferences, and analytic-associated travel.
  • Assist with general office functions, escort visitors, and support team events.
