  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

  • Frontline resource within the HR department to address questions, inquiries, and to provide HR support services to both employees and the management teams. Primary point of contact for the hourly employee population.
  • Promote consistent application of HR related policies and programs.
  • Support client group to meet recruiting needs in partnership with Talent Acquisition organization recruiters – attend job fairs, college recruitment (intern program) and co-ops and create and maintain job files/applicant tracking for Affirmative Action Plan, submit & review background screenings, and e-verify and facilitate New Employee Orientation.
  • Analyze trends & metrics in partnership with HR Leader to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Collaborate on the design, delivery and tracking of training courses and programs. Conduct and facilitate local training courses on HR topics including new hire orientation, management development, and federal and state compliance.
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits, leave of absence and compensation needs for employee population in partnership with the Corporate HR Shared Services.
  • Maintain employee personnel records and legal postings.
  • Support/partner on cyclical HR Planning events such as Talent Review, Annual Compensation and bonus planning and Performance Assessments and quarterly hourly employee bonus reviews.
  • Liaison between Salem Plant and Payroll team for timecard review and approvals (AS400 payroll system).
  • Coordinate with Corporate HR Shared Services on employee transactional activity including compensation, benefit, leave, and data integrity to ensure efficiency and eliminate redundancy. Complete transactional duties as needed.
  • Partner with employees and/or management in settling disputes including employee relations investigations and performance improvement plans.
  • Respond to employment and wage verifications in a timely manner, as well as inquiries by Workforce Development, DOL, and other government agencies.
  • Assist with researching, proposing, organizing and promoting employee events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
