Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Initialization and Planning processes
  • Prepare IT budget for manufacturing launches based on high-level scope requirements from the Business
  • Developing project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Leading the request for RFQ/RFP/RFI project IT components as required
  • Manage ordering of IT hardware and software for launch support
  • Analyze business processes and make recommendations for improvements
  • Provide Project Management support during the Implementation of Manufacturing Launches
  • Developing and maintaining project document assets (schedules, risk logs, issue logs, etc.)
  • Project Management and integration of mission critical plant applications for new product deployments
  • Ability to obtain an expert level of knowledge for plant applications used by the local plant, allowing assistance in troubleshooting system issues, manage the configuration of applications and network deployment and integration
  • Coordinate and Deploy resources to critical path areas to ensure project deliverables are on-time
  • Monitor and report IT systems implementation progress as required during launches
  • Ability to distil complex issues for reporting to various levels of Project Stakeholders/Management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Skilled Trades on the Plant Floor, to the Vice President owning the Launch
  • Maintaining and distribution of key project documents (schedules, progress trackers, etc.)
  • Adhere to governance by maintaining IT standards and guidelines within the local IT infrastructure
  • Ensure all technologies that are incorporated into the physical environment are approved for use
  • Follow change control, processes and changes
  • Ensure that service performance agreements are met, and issues are escalated as appropriate
