  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with eight (8) years of related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the military, commercial and recreational marine industry in boats under 200 feet
  • Experience with various computer-based graphics software.

  • Perform equipment validations on boats either on trailers or in the water.

  • Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technically accurate parts research using construction drawings, logistics documents, technical manuals, and vendors to accurately provide graphic representation of small boats under 200 feet and other miscellaneous equipment and systems.
  • Create new and modify existing graphics using various computer software packages.
  • Act within an assigned time schedule to allow overall schedule adherence.
  • Interfacing with customer personnel, vendors, and military personnel.
