Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Category Managers to define and implement sourcing strategies
  • Analyze and refine specifications alongside requesters to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Prepare data-driven negotiation strategies and assign roles to key Air Liquide stakeholders during supplier engagements.
  • Lead the optimization of tactical and strategic sourcing processes, conduct negotiations with selected suppliers, and oversee the contracting of global suppliers.
  • Ensure contracts are effectively communicated to Internal Local Customer Managers for seamless deployment and execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of contract management, including price adjustments, volume rebates, product and service updates, progress tracking, and renewals.
  • Regularly update procurement databases, including contracts and catalogs, and manage compliance, incidents, and claims.
  • Drive SRM initiatives for assigned suppliers, including supplier strategy reviews, audits, financial assessments, and innovation projects.
  • Foster strong supplier relationships by organizing events like supplier days and promoting their solutions internally.
  • Contribute to supplier performance evaluations and oversee qualification and audit processes in collaboration with Inspection, HSEQ, and Technical teams.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supplier risks to maintain compliance with risk frameworks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, consolidating their feedback on category strategies and supplier performance.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction opportunities.
  • Enhance the influence and recognition of the procurement function within the organization.
  • Develop and present sourcing action plans to Management and, when necessary, to the relevant Category Manager.
  • Conduct periodic internal customer surveys to assess feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions to enhance contract compliance and overall performance.
