  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare thorough inspector’s daily reports (IDRs) detailing the status of the work, including verification of work completed, item postings and materials associations, and jobsite conditions. Work with office technicians on proper IDR procedures and submit IDRs in a timely manner.
  • Complete and submit required calculations, sketches, and applicable forms, including but not limited to, Inspectors Daily Report of Concrete Placed, Permit to Place, Inspector’s Daily Record of Contract Removal Items, Minimum Wage Rate Interview, Mobility Report, Jobsite Poster Checklist, and Drilled Shaft Inspection Report forms.
  • Verify and document that construction adheres to contract requirements. Communicate with appropriate senior staff on issues of non-compliance.
  • Assist with Requests for Information.
  • Serve as liaison between the contractor and senior technician or engineer to resolve constructability issues or questions.
  • Communicate, as needed and appropriate, with project team and stakeholders including project engineer, senior technician, testing technicians, survey staff, contractors, business owners, and residents.
  • Work closely with senior technicians and engineers to verify and document proper execution of project designs.
