  • Solid international experience (preferred).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Alternative Investments (PE, PD, Infrastructure & RE)
  • Deep understanding about the Alternative business ecosystem and fundrasing activities.
  • Must be proficient in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Alternative Sales Specialist, you will be ultimately responsible for the design and execution of the distribution strategy for our Alternative business in Spain. As such, you will lead and manage investor relationships and fundraising activities. Working very closely with our investment & product teams you will also have a very active role in the design and implementation of the product strategy and distribution pipeline for Santander Alternatives.
  • In coordination with our investment and product teams support the strategizing, planning, and execution of fundraisings, including market analysis, preparation of all fund marketing materials and legal and fund structuring and partnership-formation with various providers.
  • Support the development and execution of formal fundraising pitches and roadshows.
  • Expand the firm's network of global investor relationships. Build strong and long-lasting relationships with key investors and managers in target organizations.
  • Attend key investor conferences and events, acting as spokesperson for the firm.
  • Have a deep knowledge about investors’ commercial situation.
  • Prepare and implement documentation for clients/investors in line with internal compliance, legal, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain professional knowledge, market updates, industry developments, and competitor’s activities.
  • Contribute to the firm´s key strategic initiatives by providing regular feedback on new and existing products, market trends and investor´s preferences or needs.
  • Have an active role on promoting Santander´s Private Markets capabilities in Spain and eventually in some other European Markets.
