Responsibilities

  • The Intelligence Analyst – Sensitive Activities will provide scientific, technical, and analytic intelligence expertise to support DAF sensitive activities worldwide. The analyst will conduct intelligence research, develop assessments, provide strategic recommendations, and deliver concise reports on emerging and existing intelligence concerns. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Use a wide range of concepts, principles, practices, facts, and information including All-Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Military Deception, Operations Security (OPSEC), Signature Management, Cyber Risk Management, and Identity Management to assess and mitigate threats to USAF/USSF sensitive activities.
  • Work collaboratively with intelligence analysts, operations support officers, technology specialists, and DoD stakeholders to enhance mission effectiveness.
  • Produce analytical reports in various formats to support decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Expedite intelligence analysis using advanced text and visual analytics tools.
  • Conduct intelligence oversight compliance, ensuring adherence to EO 12333, DoD Manual 5240.01, and all relevant security directives.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of policy changes on defense operations, supporting DAF leadership in strategy formulation and implementation.
