Requirements

  • Audit Professionalism – internal audit skills and methodological application (planning, business analysis, risk and control evaluation, testing and reporting)
  • Experience of working in an insurance or relevant financial services function, audit firm or UK regulator. Ideally this will include experience in quality assurance activities
  • Experience in leading the delivery of complex audits, working within teams, negotiation situations and interacting with key stakeholders and supporting the personal development of team members
  • Great senior level relationship management and influencing through impactful verbal and written communication
  • Significant experience of operating at senior management level

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for planning and implementing quality assurance reviews, maintaining the IA methodology and accompanying guidance to ensure it remains fit for purpose and aligns to external standards and also providing guidance, coaching and training on how to use our methodology.
  • You will report to the Head of Quality and be part of the central operations team within the IA function working with others in that team to help the function deliver continued high performance.
