Responsibilities

  • Policy and Process Development: Develop, document, and enforce IT policies and procedures related to governance, risk management, compliance, and release management.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure that all IT processes meet relevant standards, such as ITIL, COBIT, or ISO 27001.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to IT projects, ensuring that governance protocols are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Release Planning and Coordination: Manage the planning, scheduling, and coordination of software releases across multiple environments (development, staging, production).
  • Release Lifecycle Management: Ensure proper versioning, configuration, and documentation of all software releases. Oversee the testing and approval processes for each release.
  • Change Control: Oversee the change management process to ensure that all changes are documented, tracked, and executed with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Release Readiness: Assess and ensure that software releases are "production-ready" by validating that all prerequisites (e.g., testing, code reviews, and user acceptance testing) are met before deployment.
