Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and release software related to the Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS) software architecture.
  • Monitor and react to line & IT system performance metrics/indicators.
  • Design and build various support, maintenance, and metrics gathering utilities.
  • Gathering and analyzing data to support automation and customer teams, present data to various groups and levels of management.
  • Define and make suggestions that improve performance and process issues.
  • Participate in meetings, management reviews, and IT group coordination where applicable/necessary.
  • Build, maintain, and manage training and support knowledge material.
  • Provide coordination and action with Major Incident events affecting operations including management of any required postmortems and associated communication.
  • Participate with Micron Worldwide Problem Management (local and/or global).
  • Solve software defects.
  • Participate in a 24x7 support on-call rotation.
  • May telecommute from home part-time.
