What are the primary responsibilities of a Jr. Web Application Data Engineer at GEI?
The primary responsibilities include designing, programming, testing, deploying, and documenting web applications; designing and building SQL Server schemas; collaborating with data architects and data engineers; developing a strong understanding of the subject matter for each application to assist with troubleshooting; and providing programming and data engineering assistance for desktop applications.

The essential qualifications include practical experience with the .Net framework for web development, C#, ASP.net, jQuery, HTML/Razor, LINQ, JavaScript, and version control management software. Additionally, expertise in the SDLC, ability to provide off-hour deployments and support for bug fixes, a major in a computer-related field, and the ability to work during east coast hours are required.
Are there any preferred qualifications for this role?
Yes, preferred qualifications include experience using Entity Framework Core, familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server via SSMS (DDL and DML), knowledge of .Net Core, Azure authentication, Azure Blob storage integration, Power BI cloud service, and experience with VB.net for desktop applications, XML, and XSD.
