Responsibilities

  • Ferrero is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team, and the role encompasses a variety of responsibilities that are critical for the smooth functioning of the finance department. As a Junior Accountant, you will assist the Financial Statutory FMCG Supervisor with daily tasks according to the Group's month-end calendar. This includes recording journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts. You will also manage monthly intercompany reconciliations, coordinating efforts with the Shared Service and other Group entities’ administrative teams.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, you will support the calculation and reporting of IFRS 16 (leasing contracts) under the guidance of the Financial Statutory FMCG Supervisor. You will play a key role in investigating and resolving any accounting issues, preparing audit documentation as requested, and assisting in the preparation of annual accounts. Collaboration with the Finance Shared Services Department is essential to ensure that both accounts receivable and payable processes are efficient, accurate, and that any anomalies are addressed promptly.
  • You will provide support to other business departments in resolving accounting issues, assist in external interim audits, process improvements, and perform ad hoc analyses. You will liaise with external third-party logistics providers (3PLs) for stock-related issues and contribute to fixed assets reporting on an ad hoc basis. This position is integral to ensuring that all financial processes align with Ferrero's high standards and regulatory requirements.
