Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience linked to the management of Sports product (example buying, merchandising, assortment planning), ideally having worked with international brands Negotiation is in your blood, and you are a confident communicator with suppliers and other stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Change the shape of the sports retail landscape in Europe through bold & progressive approaches that make us uncomfortable
  • Shaping the strategy and creative direction for the Training business unit, while taking into account the big picture Zalando strategy, consumer & market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Negotiating with sports brands for Zalando whilst continuously building positive relations with our existing suppliers across both wholesale and platform business models.
  • Showing strong command of retail/buying KPIs to monitor and review the Unit performance in order to make bold in-season trade decisions. Collaborating with the Merchandising team to plan seasonal budgets and OTB.
  • Always challenging and evolving your business to support our company strategy, whilst inspiring brands to take next steps in their Zalando journey. Working cross functionally with other departments including Content, Customer Analytics, Social Media, and Supply Chain Logistics to drive business impact and exchange in best practices.
