  • Experience working for brands, commercial clients or sports teams/athletes.

  • Proficiency with capturing video on your camera, and with a mobile phone, and ability to edit both video and still together in short video edits.
  • Comfort with standing or crouching for hours during photoshoots and live football matches.
  • Proficiency with photo editing software and camera equipment.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Capturing, processing, editing and crafting creative digital content that will be used on our websites, app and social media channels, that will resonate with the club’s diverse global fanbase.
  • Still (Photography) and Video capture for our teams, players and partners to use on their channels.
  • Live matchday photography and video capture.
  • Working in close collaboration with our Photodesk, to ensure the timely distribution of photos.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including our Communications team, players and coaching staff, to ensure highest standards of production are achieved.
  • Constantly improve image quality using various editing methods
  • Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc)
  • Plan and setup sets, backdrops, scenes, lighting and backgrounds to meet a brief.
  • Direct participants
  • Archive photographic images and maintain database – you will experience the ‘back office’ Photodesk department too.
  • Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and the next tech/innovations around the corner.
