Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related design qualification.
  • Someone with proficiency in the use of CAD based software, Sketch-Up, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • A deep passion for design, keeping up with trends, taking a customer focused approach with a wider understanding of the commercial property market.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Head of Interior Design and work within the Commercial Team to deliver the highest quality product and service for both Bruntwood and our customers.
  • Under supervision you will contribute to the concepting, development and execution of workplace design projects at all stages of the design process on time and within budget. With strong presentation skills you will be adept at space planning, 3D visuals, FF&E selection and be able to contribute to the preparation of tender documents.
  • Support Interior Designers on key project deliverables, taking guidance and direction as required.
  • Visit Bruntwood buildings across Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham and Cambridge to undertake site surveys, brief taking, customer meetings and viewings as required as part of the wider design process.
  • Work to agreed deadlines and budget, ensuring the highest standards throughout all of the design stages and compliance with current industry building regulations.
  • Be confident to collaborate with in-house teams as well as external consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities as needed to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide services such as commercial viewing support, workplace consultancy, test fit plans and CAT A / CAT A+ / CAT B fit-outs.
  • Supporting Bruntwood in the continued improvement of our buildings by providing design schemes for our receptions, WCs, common parts and amenity spaces.
  • Management of the in house sample library, regularly meeting with key industry contacts and ensuring the product library is up to date.
