What is the duration of the Junior Clinical Fellow post?
The post is available for 12 months with a potential opportunity to extend depending on the availability of posts.
What key experiences will the successful candidate gain in this role?
The successful candidate will gain experience in inpatient and outpatient management of infection, antimicrobial stewardship, management of referrals/consults to the Infectious Diseases unit, infectious diseases research, quality improvement, and teaching and education through support of the Infectious Diseases Undergraduate program and postgraduate teaching programmes.
Will I receive supervision and support during the placement?
Yes, the postholder will be allocated an Education Supervisor who will provide support, guidance, and supervision throughout the placement.
Is this a formally recognized training post?
No, this post is not a formally recognized HENW training post, but it will deliver a similar experience.
