Responsibilities

  • Conducting market and spend analysis for the category, monitoring latest trends to recommend optimise cost positions / market innovations to the client.
  • Supporting the Category Manager in the definition and execution of strategies for the different spend areas.
  • Coordinating and delivering multiple tenders and negotiations for the category, drafting and issuing RFx documentation, completing offer analysis inclusive of technical and commercial scoring, negotiating contractual and commercial terms, preparing recommendations for the client.
  • A skilled multi-tasker, being able to handle 10-15 workstreams (monthly average), with a 25/75 mix of strategic (low volume, high risk/complexity, longer duration) and tactical (high volume, low risk, short duration) utilising systems, office tools and communication to maximise efficiency.
  • Self-assured, self-sufficient, inquisitive – not afraid to ask questions or for help, using available resources to ensure delivery to time and quality. Continually looking to learn.
  • Supporting the client with the review and definition of RFI/P specifications, recommending best commercial approach to deliver best value and savings.
  • Supporting and advise the client in supplier selection criteria, ensuring transparency of procurement process at all times.
  • Managing stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Documenting results and report status and progress of negotiations.
  • Completing legal contracts using predefined templates. Negotiate commercial terms and liaise with Legal Department as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance of own projects with defined Aquanima and Client’s policies, processes and procedures, managing risk for the organisation at all times.
  • Identifying and anticipate issues in the execution of the negotiations, propose and implement solutions, escalate as required.
  • Reporting all negotiations in procurement systems, ensuring data quality at all times.
  • Participating in internal company continuous improvement projects and initiatives, including internal training initiatives and supplier forums.
