Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively with both global suppliers & regional colleagues to ensure that Superdry orders are placed effectively & that products are produced to meet seasonal business requirements.
  • Build effective supplier relationships to support a partnership approach.
  • Identify & mitigate the risk of late deliveries through a clear critical path management & escalation process.
  • Manage daily e-mail correspondence and supplier issues with proactive solutions.
  • Provide clear direction on freight and debit penalties to suppliers.
  • Inform the Lead Production Merchandiser of any constraints in production.
  • Manage the PO book for your given area, placing orders with suppliers to agreed deadlines & capacity, updating dates within our order management system, holding suppliers to account whilst maintaining supplier relations.
  • Lead supplier calls to negotiate handover date improvements whilst minimising risk to capacity.
  • Liaise with Key stakeholders including Sustainability, Sourcing & Quality and Technical to ensure all critical path milestones are consistently monitored & delivered.
  • Liaise with our Retail and Wholesale colleagues to ensure that channel specific requirements are met.
  • Monitor weekly shipments from factories & Manage Supplier Bookings with Freight Forwarding partners.
  • Manage and support projects within deadlines and in line with the strategic goes of the department.
  • Complete other tasks as required to support a fast paced, growing business.
