What is the scope of the Operations Excellence Program?
The Operations Excellence Program (OEP) is a two-year program where you will work on client engagements in the same capacity as other McKinsey consultants, gaining operational and consultancy skills through on-the-job coaching and a structured training program.
What qualifications are required for this position?
You need a Master’s degree with exceptional academic performance, initial experience in an operational topic, proven leadership skills, and exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
Is prior experience in operational topics necessary?
Yes, initial experience in areas such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Industry 4.0, process optimization, product development, or purchasing is required.
Will I receive training during the program?
Yes, you will receive functional training and knowledge development through a structured curriculum, focusing on operations excellence themes led by our operations experts.
Is travel required for this position?
Yes, the role requires mobility and enthusiasm for taking on European assignments during the work week.
