Responsibilities

  • Manage the smooth operations of the Kids Club effectively on a day-to-day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction. This includes covering the Little Nomads reception area when required and supervising the team in the absence of the Kids Club Manager.
  • Handles guest complaints and follows correct reporting procedures, and follows up with the guest satisfaction.
  • Create new, unique and interesting activity programs that draw upon the best cultural, sporting or other offerings of the area in which the hotel is located. Help make the kids club offering a point of competitive advantage for the hotel. Ensure outsourced service provides maintenance standards.
  • Have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel, and particularly all the Kids Club activities and experiences in the hotel.
  • Lead the implementation of all childcare health and safety standards and FLHSS regulations.
  • Execute the Little Nomads activity programme ensuring that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques and equipment.
  • Monitor the success of the activity programs through the number of participants per scheduled event through guests’ feedback and related documentation. Make necessary adjustments to maintain top quality, fun filled and original programs for hotel guests and members.
  • Keep all equipment clean and well maintained in the Little Nomads Kids Club daily. Prepare the breakage, loss and spoilage report on a monthly basis.
  • Support FLHSS management and have a deep understanding of all related process & procedure for the area.
  • Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
  • To ensure hazards and malfunctioning, improperly working equipment is reported in a timely manner to management/IT/Engineering.
  • Be competent in the use of KMS and uploading data relevant to kids staying at Little Nomads.
  • Be confident user of the hotel operational systems such as in HMS, SCM, HotSos, Bayan.
  • Conduct the Kids Club Inventory twice per month, monitor the required quantity or stationery items.
  • Train and develop the Kids Club attendants along with the Kids Manager, create a monthly L&D calendar.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working environment with the other departments.
  • Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for the Little Nomads Kids Club.
  • Assist the Kids Club Manager to driv revenue opportunities for the department.
