We are currently recruiting for Laboratory Assistants in Aintree Area,

Duties Will Include But Not Limited To


 * Operating the laboratory dish washer
 * Disposal of laboratory samples in line Health and Safety procedures
 * Restocking of laboratory glassware
 * Chemical stock control and receiving of deliveries
 * Assisting Chemists and Laboratory Technicians
 * Maintain cleanliness of the working area
 * Preparation and weighing of samples of various commodities from the mining industry.
 * Routinely use standard laboratory equipment such as balances for sample weighing.
 * Perform basic instrument maintenance and operation.
 * Function as an integral part of the laboratory team.
 * Follow in house techniques as trained.
 * Maintain cleanliness of the working area
 * Use IT for the recording of data and sample tracking within the laboratory.
 * To store samples in accordance with the systems in place.
 * Undertake other responsibilities as required by senior chemists
 * Ensuring Health and safety procedures are met
   
   

Working hours-

8.30am-4.30pm or 7.30am-3.30pm

This role is a temp to perm after 12 weeks there is a chance for it to be a permanent position for the right cadidate

No experience is required as full in house training will be provided, however production experience is required.
