Requirements

  • Experience working as a Technician or Analyst within a mining related Laboratory
  • ICP MS experience highly desirable
  • A Certificate III / IV in Laboratory Skills / Techniques is beneficial
  • Must adhere to quality standards and have a strong commitment to safety.
  • Must be reliable and able to work rotational shift work on a roster (Day, Night and Afternoon shifts).
  • A strong team and customer focus.
  • Sound reading and numerical skills.
  • A methodical, well organised approach to your work.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening.
  • **Full availability across all shifts is required
  • Please note that as part of the recruitment experience you must be able to pass a comprehension, numerical and literacy test as well as a full Medical, Drug and Alcohol test.**

Responsibilities

  • Your role will be using specialised equipment and performing laboratory testing.
  • You will also be involved in the simulation of minerals production processes in order to test the properties of minerals samples.
