Responsibilities

  • Conduct permitting activities for the area and issue permits in support of maintenance, service vendors, site projects group and other operations.
  • Lead the area morning meeting and follow up on issues to ensure continued smooth uninterrupted supply of utilities to meet production demands.
  • Maintain the upkeep of the area such that it is always in an audit ready standard.
  • Manage the departmental logbooks and SOPs on the Regulus system. Ensuring periodic reviews, informational updates & approvals are completed in a timely manner.
  • Be the primary trouble-shooter for the area and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Liaise with maintenance service providers and vendor representatives to manage asset availability for maintenance & associated downtime.
  • Management of area consumables.
  • Participate in the generation of training documentation for the operations personnel.
  • Assist in the training of operations personnel.
  • Identify, drive and lead continuous improvement projects within the area.
  • Participate in safety/quality audits of the area.
  • Work with purchasing group in the ordering of departmental consumables, safety equipment, etc.
  • Owns the closeout of actions arising from the audits, action trackers and handover logs, including facility improvements, and identification, labelling and storage improvements.
