Responsibilities

  • Review of technical specifications of customers received as part of order transfer to understand customer requirement and convert these technical requirements into GA drawings, rating plate drawings, sectional views, Guarantee Technical Particulars (GTP)
  • Take lead in Customer interaction through Technical Project Management Team to respond to customer comments / queries and submit revised drawings and Technical Compliance documents to the customers in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of 2D/3D part drawings (mechanical components) and assembly drawings using AutoCad / CREO
  • Verification of customer approved drawings for creation of customer order BOMs using SAP and utilization of various material master T codes in SAP for routine engineering activities.
  • Take lead in Intra / Interfunction / supplier interactions and meetings to clarify to technical doubts / clarification / queries for smooth order execution.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration with intra / interfunction teams to exchange technical information, ask questions and check for common understanding to troubleshoot & solve issues (as applicable) during customer order execution.
  • Develop strong customer relationships to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
  • Align activities with functional priorities to meet KPIs.
