Responsibilities

  • You’ll work with business, technology, and product and the user research teams to understand the business vision, objectives and transformation plans to help identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
  • You’ll be responsible for designing and/or delivering user experience solutions and capabilities across new and existing digital channels, platforms, and ecosystems. Creating and implementing robust digital propositions that engage users and scale demand.
  • You’ll plan the UX tasks and strategy to be delivered in the most efficient way, following agile best practices. You will support and mentor the team with planning their tasks and when attending agile ceremonies accordingly.
  • You’ll analyze cross-organizational experiences to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities to improve and innovate.
  • You’ll provide UX input to assist with product investment decisions, product strategy, and product roadmap development across a number of portfolios.
  • You’ll create and/or deliver user-centered design solutions for internal and external-facing experiences that feature ease of use, employ best-in-class interaction design, and optimize the user experience.
  • You’ll work alongside other product designers on the team to help advance how we promote the craft of UX across the organization to optimize how we think about and leverage UX.
  • You may lead, manage, and mentor a team of product designers and work together with them on their development and projects assigned to them to achieve and successfully deliver objectives.
  • Serving in lead capacity on large, complex projects, creates user experience and visual design solutions for projects based on business objectives and user research.
  • Proactively identifies the need for and initiates new, complex multi-step user flows using various design tools (e.g. experience and service design maps, journey maps, concepts, wireframes and prototypes).
  • Serve as subject matter expert in the defined UX and brand standards.
  • Identify design problems and devise modular, scalable, feasible solutions. Translate concepts into wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences and facilitate the product vision.
  • Drive, plan, and work with the team to deliver the relevant and prioritised design outputs and ensure these are met as agreed.
  • Operate with a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs, analysing data, usability goals and business success metrics.
  • Leads the UX discovery process with support from team leadership, including development and interpreting user goals.
  • Collaborates with the Research Team to design and execute and support a variety of user research activities. Implement a design plan following the results of user research, concept testing, usability testing and quantitative analysis to make complex design recommendations.
  • Acts as an advocate for the end user within a cross-functional team.
  • Promote and cultivate knowledge-sharing and leverage our global expertise and assets.
  • Works collaboratively by sharing designs early and often, seeking constructive feedback and integrating feedback to improve solutions.
  • Offers guidance and provides constructive feedback to other team members.
  • Helps team members develop, strengthen and align their ideas with business and customer goals.
