Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor/Lawyer in the UK or other Common Law jurisdiction, 2 – 5 years PQE in a leading law firm or in-house team
  • Have corporate, commercial, regulatory or financial services experience in current or previous practice
  • Strong transactional experience advising on contract negotiations, preferably in Fintech, payments or banking
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage a high volume of work
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • High level of written and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be open-minded and willing to accept new challenges
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial contracts with clients and vendors (including SaaS Agreements, NDAs, Consultancy Agreements and Partnership Agreements)
  • Provide advice on IP related matters
  • Assist with corporate work including funding, company secretarial, corporate governance and international expansion.
  • Research, monitor and advise on compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks
  • Advise on employment matters and employee incentives
  • Assist with ad hoc projects
  • Work with external legal counsel as and when appropriate
