Responsibilities

  • Supporting the business with a wide range of legal advice across many jurisdictions and becoming a key point of contact for the sales team.
  • Collaborating with senior lawyers on strategic and corporate initiatives, and regulatory analysis.
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements with customers, vendors, partners and other third parties, including data licenses, software and intellectual property licenses, intercompany and outsourcing agreements and other commercial agreements.
  • Supporting with litigation, regulatory and trading venue disciplinary matters and complaints from market participants.
  • Coordinating and working with outside counsel and managed legal services, acting as a point of escalation for legal issues.
  • Maintaining, updating and revising contract template agreements, rule books and supporting process improvement and automation within the Legal team.
  • Working closely with Compliance, implementing internal controls, policies and procedures to increase efficiencies and assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, corporate policies and ethical standards.
