Responsibilities

  • Training: The programme begins with a four-week full time course delivered by the University of Law and Positive Pricing, created in collaboration with a consortium of leading law firms. This foundational course provides Graduates with a high-level understanding of the primary legal operations disciplines, an introduction to law, and a valuable opportunity to network with industry peers.
  • Rotational Placements: Graduates will rotate through our Legal Project Management, Pricing and Innovation teams, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to real-world projects.
  • Mentorship and Support: Graduates will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced Legal Operations professionals throughout their rotations, being assigned a 'buddy' to guide them through each rotation.
  • Opportunity for Permanent Role: Graduates demonstrating their skills and value to the team, will have the prospect of securing a permanent position upon completion of the programme.

Graduates can expect to experience tasks such as automating legal processes, analysing data to inform strategic decisions and researching emerging legal tech.
  • Legal Project Management:
  • Great lawyers are able to understand how everything fits together, from managing projects profitably to really getting under the skin of clients and their businesses. It’s not just knowing them, it’s understanding what they stand for and using that insight to inform the delivery approach. During the LPM seat, Graduates will experience a rotational placement where law meets strategy. Graduates will learn to master the art of managing complex legal projects -planning, executing, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Graduates will gain hands-on experience in resource allocation, workflow coordination, and client communication, all while utilising the latest in project management software and methodologies.
  • Commercial Analysis / Pricing:
  • During a Graduate's Commercial Analysis and Pricing seat they will address the exciting challenge of developing pricing strategies that align with client expectations and firm goals. Graduates will analyse market trends, forecast financial outcomes, and craft bespoke pricing models that enhance the firm's competitive edge. This seat is the opportunity to blend analytical prowess with commercial acumen. A graduate eager to experience the business of law will be particularly suited to this seat.
